What is Hacking Spatial Computing?
Hacking spatial computing was the first-ever university hackathon dedicated to spatial computing and Apple Vision Pro.
Co-organized by the Interactive 3D Design Group led by Professor Gabriel Lipkowitz at National University of Singapore and Apple Certified Trainer Jia Chen Yee, the event was hosted at both NUS and the Apple Developer Center in Singapore.
Over fifty brilliant student participants, many with no prior experience with the Swift programming language but each with a MacBook to develop on, built real spatial apps for the new platform in the span of just four days.
This is where it all started!
Excited by the energy we saw for spatial computing at this hackathon, we have kicked off Spatial Singapore, a first-of-its-kind community for visionOS developers, students, and everyone passionate about spatial computing.
